    Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of IMG Navigator Australia. By accessing this site you agree to them.

    Last updated: 21 July 2026

    Important: General information only

Everything on this website is general educational information. It is not medical advice, not migration advice, not legal advice, and not advice from Ahpra, the Medical Board, AMC or any specialist college. No client, patient, or agency relationship is created. Always confirm with official sources and obtain independent professional advice for your circumstances.

    1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing, browsing or using imgnavigator.com.au or any associated domain (the Site), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

    2. Who we are and what we provide

IMG Navigator Australia provides independent educational content and optional guidance conversations for international medical graduates (IMGs) and specialist international medical graduates about Australian pathways at a high level. We summarise publicly available information about Standard, Competent Authority, Specialist and Expedited pathways and related preparation milestones. We are not affiliated with any regulator, college, government, employer or hospital.

    • We do not assess eligibility, qualifications, or documents
    • We do not submit applications to Ahpra, AMC, colleges, employers or immigration
    • We do not guarantee registration, exam passes, employment or visa outcomes
    • We do not provide medical care or clinical advice

    3. Eligibility and responsible use

You must be at least 18 years old to submit an enquiry. You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Site lawfully, and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape beyond reasonable personal browsing, or upload malicious code.

    4. No professional relationship

Contact through the Site, including submitting the enquiry form, does not create a doctor-patient, solicitor-client, migration agent-client, or employment agency relationship. Any guidance discussion is general information, not personalised professional advice tailored to your legal or medical circumstances.

    5. Information accuracy and no warranty

Australian medical registration pathways, AMC requirements, Ahpra rules, college requirements and migration rules change frequently. We endeavour to keep content current and align with official sources at the time of writing, but we make no representation that all information is complete, up to date or error-free. You must verify critical information directly with the official body responsible:

    • Ahpra and the Medical Board of Australia for registration standards and requirements
    • Australian Medical Council for primary source verification and examinations
    • Relevant specialist medical college for specialist assessment
    • Department of Home Affairs and registered migration agents for visa information

    6. Links to third-party websites

The Site contains links to external sites such as Ahpra, AMC, medical colleges and government agencies for your convenience. We do not control, endorse or accept responsibility for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices. Access external sites at your own risk.

    7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, we own or license all text, graphics, logos, layout and other content on the Site. Our compass logo and brand marks are protected. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial, informational use only. You must not reproduce, adapt, republish, frame or commercially exploit content without prior written permission.

    8. Enquiry form and communications

By submitting the enquiry form you confirm information you provide is accurate and you consent to us responding via the contact details you provide. We may store your enquiry in our contacts system to manage replies. Do not include highly sensitive personal information, patient data or identification document numbers in the form.

    9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an as is and as available basis without warranty of any kind. We exclude all implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, IMG Navigator Australia, its owners and contributors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or loss of profits, arising from your use of the Site, reliance on its content, inability to access it, or from any linked external site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupply of the relevant service or payment of the cost of resupply, at our option, to the extent the law allows.

    10. Indemnity

You indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

    11. Termination and changes to the Site

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time without notice. We may also suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or pose a risk to the Site or others.

    12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Where applicable laws of a State or Territory apply, you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that place and the Commonwealth of Australia. We make no representation that the Site complies with laws outside Australia.

    13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the revised version with a new last updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

    14. Contact

For questions about these Terms, please contact us via the enquiry form on the homepage. Do not include confidential or sensitive documents in initial contact.
